Establishment of Hydrostab Romania
Stabil Group enters a new market – Romania – with the launch of its newest company, Hydrostab S.R.L. Ciprian Dumbraveanu becomes the manager, who, driven by ambition and a strong desire for development, begins building his team and expanding the company’s commercial network in the country.
Expansion into online commerce
Hydrostab enters a new market niche by launching its updated website, transformed into an online store for B2B and end-customer sales. A year later, Stabil Agro also enters e-commerce with its own online store, and in 2025 it launches the Zelenida online store.
Creation of the holding structure
The holding structure of Stabil Group is established. This enables the consolidation of resources and strategic know-how, while each subsidiary retains its legal autonomy. This synergy minimizes risks, optimizes operational costs, and turns the diversity of our portfolio into a sustainable competitive advantage.
Establishment of Hydrostab
Hydrostab starts its activity as a wholesale trader of components and parts for plumbing and irrigation systems. The first brand introduced to the Bulgarian market is the Cypriot manufacturer Elysee, with their high-quality compression fittings – products that Hydrostab still distributes today.
Establishment of Plexistab Bulgaria EAD
Plexistab introduces PVC hoses to the Bulgarian market for the first time. The company begins its activity in partnership with the Greek manufacturer Plexaco – a pioneer in PVC hose production – and Stabil Engineering, a fast-growing Bulgarian company. After 2012, Plexistab becomes a fully Bulgarian family-owned company and part of the Stabil Group holding.
Creation of “Stabilengineering-Alpha”
Since its establishment, “Stabilengineering-Alpha” has specialized in the production of custom equipment for the food industry. Over the following years, the company established itself as a trusted partner not only in the food sector, but also for numerous companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and other industries. To this day, the equipment manufactured by “Stabilengineering-Alpha” continues to set the standard in custom industrial equipment.
Stabil Engineering begins distribution, installation, and service of ink-jet industrial printers
Stabil Engineering starts its activity in the distribution, installation, and servicing of ink-jet industrial printers. The company becomes the official representative in Bulgaria of Imaje industrial printers, which a few years later become known as Markem-Imaje – the name they carry to this day.
Foundation of an engineering company
On May 18, 1994, engineer Mitko Stoyanov together with his two children and his wife laid the foundation of Stabil Engineering Ltd. With solid experience, constant enthusiasm, and unwavering support, they managed to grow from two temporary rooms on Bulair Street into Stabil-Engineering AD (which would later evolve into Stabil Group JSC).
