Stabil Group’s annual team-building event brought together colleagues from all its companies for the third consecutive year. What made the event unforgettable?
On 26 September, colleagues from across Stabil Group gathered in Pomorie. For the third consecutive year, the Group’s team-building event brought together people from different teams and business areas who share a sense of belonging to the same group of companies. This year, football, table tennis and beach volleyball tournaments inspired enthusiastic support and plenty of excitement.
Each team-building event has its own character. In 2024, we celebrated Stabil Group’s 30th anniversary in Pamporovo with team games and a joint effort to improve an eco-trail. In 2025, we gathered in Panagyurishte, where we made lyutenitsa, a traditional Bulgarian vegetable relish, together and shared homemade specialities at a tasting station. Everyone’s wish to come together again after our first shared event marked the beginning of a tradition that continues to bring us together in new ways.
Sportsmanship and support beyond the playing field
This year, colleagues swapped shared tasks for team and individual sporting challenges. In football and beach volleyball, the results depended on how well the players worked together, while table tennis gave representatives of the companies an opportunity to showcase their individual skills. Participants gave their all in the tournaments, and the support of their colleagues kept spirits high throughout the competition.
Andrey Hristozov from Plexistab was invited to referee the football matches. The beach volleyball tournament was officiated by Tosho Stoyanov, a coach and the founder and Managing Director of Executive Unique Consulting, who also has experience in developing beach volleyball in Bulgaria. Both gladly accepted the invitations and brought their professional refereeing experience to the competitions.
Results of the three tournaments
Stabilengineering-Alfa won the football tournament and earned 5 points towards the overall standings. Stabil Engineering took second place with 4 points, followed by Plexistab with 3 and Hydrostab with 2 points.
In table tennis, Ivan Lazarov from Stabil Engineering took first place, adding 5 points to the company’s total. Dimitar Marchokov from Hydrostab came second with 4 points, and Krum Karamitev from Stabilengineering-Alfa placed third with 3 points. Plexistab finished fourth with 2 points.
Hydrostab took first place in beach volleyball and earned 5 points. Stabil Engineering finished second with 4 points, Plexistab came third with 3, and Stabilengineering-Alfa placed fourth with 2 points.
Once the points were totalled, Stabil Engineering won the “Most Sporting Company” award with 13 points. Hydrostab came second with 11 points, Stabilengineering-Alfa placed third with 10, and Plexistab finished with 8 points.
Awards at the gala dinner
The sporting excitement continued at the gala dinner, where the awards were presented. Alongside the tournament results, the ceremony recognised individual contributions, support for teammates and efforts to keep spirits high. The certificates celebrated memorable moments and individuals, while each award also reflected the involvement of many colleagues. Certificates were presented to:
- the Hydrostab team for “Loudest Supporters”;
- Hristiyana Simeonova from Stabil Agro Trade — “Lady of Sport”;
- Krum Karamitev from Stabilengineering-Alfa — “Director of Fun”;
- Ionut Lupu from Hydrostab Romania — “Heart of the Team”;
- Georgi Misev from Plexistab — “All-Round Champion”.
After the awards ceremony, the evening continued with singing, dancing and conversations late into the night. We had time to share our impressions of the tournaments and talk about the day’s events.
The team-building event in Pomorie reminded us why everyone wanted another gathering after our first shared event. Each year, we do something different, but what matters most is the chance to connect with people from the other companies, the support we give one another and the joy of being together again.
